- These mushrooms can be enjoyed just as they are, folded into a rice pilaf or tossed in a salad.
- To take it up a notch, add a couple of tablespoons of coconut milk, yogurt, or heavy cream just at the end, when you toss in the masala.
- Instead of sautéing, if you prefer to roast the mushrooms in an oven or over a grill, do not add the masala until almost the very end, after the mushrooms are cooked.
