Cooling Mint Lassi

Lassi is a traditional spiced yogurt drink from India prepared in homes and sold in street stalls. The most basic ones are the sweet lassi with sugar and ground cardamom and the salty lassi with cumin and salt. At the other end of the spectrum is the Bhang Lassi laced with cannabis commonly consumed during Holi, the festival of colors. This mint lassi combines the two basic ones and is salty yet slightly sweet. Mint leaves add a cool fragrant finish to the lassi.
