Shrimp Jalfrezi
Jalfrezi is a style of a saucy stir fry that originated in Bengal. It usually has peppers, onions and tomatoes with some sort of protein like chicken, paneer or shrimp. However, I’ve seen jalfrezis with potatoes, green beans, corn, squash, okra and numerous other vegetables so like for most Indian dishes, use what you have and make it your own.

Notes & Variations
- Depending on what vegetable you add, they can go in before the shrimp or with. If adding peppers and green beans, they should go before ~ if adding asparagus, add it with the shrimp.
- Serve the jalfrezi with rice or bread.
