Daily Morning Chai

This is our idea of a simple home chai. No brewing or cooking, just straight out of a kettle.

Step 1
In two mugs, put a tea bag, 6 almonds, 2 slices of ginger, and 1 teaspoon of honey in each.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over each cup, leaving some space at the top for milk. Let it steep for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the tea bag and pour 1 tablespoon of milk into each cup. At this point, leave the ginger in or take it out. Leaving it in will increase the ginger flavor.  
Step 4
After the tea is gone, peel the almonds, discard the peel, and eat the almonds.
2 black tea bags (preferably PG Tips, an English brand)
12 almonds
4 fresh ginger slices
2 teaspoons honey
2 tablespoons warm milk or favorite non-dairy milk
