Kahwa

Kahwa or qahwa, is a green tea native to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Enjoy it chilled then steep, strain, refrigerate and serve over ice. Honey works well as a sweetener.

Step 1
In a press pot, put the green tea, cardamom pods, saffron, and mint leaves. Pour 2+ cups boiling water over the herbs and spices. Let the tea steep for 4 to 5 minutes. 
1 tablespoon green tea
3 to 4 crushed cardamom pods
Pinch of saffron
7 to 10 mint leaves
