Moringa Smoothie

Moringa is our favorite superfood. It’s a little tough to find fresh leaves, but you can replace the leaves with 1 tsp of powdered moringa.

Step 1
Soak the cashews in warm water for 5 minutes. Do not discard the water.
Step 2
Blend the moringa leaves, mint, cashews with 3 tablespoons of the soaking water, bananas, ginger cardamom, water, and salt until smooth.
1 cup fresh moringa leaves (or 1 teaspoon powdered moringa)
Few mint leaves
2 tablespoons cashews
1 to 2 ripe bananas (frozen for colder smoothies)
1-inch piece of ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 cup water or coconut water
Pinch of sea salt

Notes & Variations

  • Top with fresh fruit, jam, syrup, or nut butter!
